Md. Mahatab Uddin

Md. Mahatab Uddin is an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. He was an international mobility scholar of the Danish Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology as such he accomplished his PhD in Public International Law on Climate Change and Sustainable Development from Aarhus University, Denmark. He was also a visiting research scholar at the Department of Law of Oslo University, Oslo, Norway. Dr. Uddin accomplished his MSc in Sustainable Development from Uppsala University, Sweden and LLM in Intellectual Property Law from Stockholm University, Sweden. He took his early law degrees from the University of Chittagong of Bangladesh.
Dr. Uddin published journal articles, book chapters and presented conference papers on diverse legal perspectives concerning climate change, marine environment, and sustainable development. His research experiences and current areas of research interests include transfer of environmentally sound technologies, adaptation technologies, carbon market, climate finance, marine environment, traditional knowledge, intellectual property law, blue economy, and sustainable development. He taught International Environmental Law, Public International Law, and Laws of International Organizations at East West University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He also taught International Business Law and International Intellectual Property Law at Aarhus University, Aarhus, Denmark.
