Apply To Attend the CBA10 Youth Conference 2016, Dhaka

Date: 26-27 April, 2016

CBA10 Youth Conference is an event targeted to incorporate the ideas and innovations of youth in the policy recommendation on Community Based Climate Change Adaptation that would run parallel to the CBA10, an international conference on community based adaptation organized by International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD), and Bangladesh Centre for Advance Studies (BCAS).

The Youth Conference is a collaborated effort of the ICCCAD, Bangladesh Youth Environmental Initiative (BYEI), Save The Children, Plan International, IIED, Water Aid, and the North South University. With the theme “Youth Mobilization to Enhance Urban Climate Resilience”, it would take place on 26-27 April, 2016 at the North South University, Dhaka. Through a rigorous selection process 100 ideal candidates would be selected to attend the conference.

Eligibility:

–       The participants must be between 15 – 24 years of age

–       The participants must have a working command over English

–       The participants must have interest in the theme and content of the conference

Costs:

The participation cost of the conference is sponsored by the organizers. However, the participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses. No bursaries are available.
