RISE (Rethink and Innovate for a Sustainable Environment) is an initiative of the International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD) supported by the PROKAS programme at British Council Bangladesh. This is a great opportunity to learn more about different aspects of climate change. This programme is aimed at early university students who are passionate about the environment and has some prior knowledge about environmental management and climate change.
This programme is both guided and self – guided. The 1st year of the programme will mostly be guided which will consist of workshops and training. The 2nd year of the programme will consist of learning visits to climate vulnerable spots and students will work on their group reports. Student engagement will be quarterly meaning activities will be done in every 3/4 months of the year. At the end of the report students will present their work in front of renowned climate change experts, policy – makers and people from our partner organisations and donor.
