ICCCAD Short Course on Urban Climate Change
Theme: ‘Building climate resilient, migrant-friendly cities’
in Dhaka from 16 to 20 September 2018
The course will focus on
> Approaches to build inclusive, climate resilient and sustainable cities and communities
> Urban Vulnerability and their linkage with other human factors exacerbating climate stresses
> Methods of assessing local needs and vulnerabilities, and potential approached to addressing those
> Identification of successful strategies to utilize the economic potential of climate migrants
The course contents will be delivered using classroom lectures, case studies and a field visit within Dhaka
