Dr. Farha Naz, a gender scholar, completed her Doctor of Philosophy in the field of Gender and Development Studies in the Department of Development and Sustainability, School of Environment, Resources and Development from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand, 2019. Her research focuses on the nexus between gender roles and relations, livelihood and environmental vulnerability and adaptation to climate change. During her studies she published article in the high impact factor and peer-reviewed International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction and presented conference papers and participated in various gender training and workshops; preventing and responding to gender-based-violence (GBV) in the world of work, making the Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) work at the national level, leveraging the cooperative advantage for women empowerment and gender equality in Turin, Italy, 2015. At present she is working as gender climate tracker (volunteer) in Women Environment and Development Organization (WEDO), Brooklyn, NY and also working on her additional articles for journal publications.
