Ritu Gupta

Visiting Researcher

Ritu Gupta is a visiting researcher and currently working as a Programme Manager with Gender at Work in India. She completed her Master’s degree in Gender and Development from the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex in 2018 and her B.A. from Calcutta University, India in 2007. She also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from XLRI, India. She has worked in the management consulting industry for over 9 years and has served IBM India in the role of a project management analyst in the past. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) and Six Sigma Green Belt (on process improvement) practitioner. She has also been training project management professionals since 2013. She has experience in developing questionnaires, conducting focused group discussions, data collection, literature reviews, data analysis and report writing. She has researched and written on the issues of child marriage, gender identities, marriage, Indian middle-class, material culture and the movement for domestic workers’ rights.
