Shababa Haque is working as a research officer at the International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD) since June 2016. Shababa graduated from the University of Manchester with an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science and finished her masters in MSc. Environmental Technology from Imperial College London, she specialized in Pollution Management. Shababa has since then worked in the field of climate change; focusing on climate mitigation and renewable energy, SDGs in relation to climate change and transformative adaptation in Bangladesh. One of the projects she led recently focused on building climate resilience for disabled persons in Bangladesh, and from there on developed her interest in strengthening adaptation for those who are disproportionately vulnerable to climate change.
