Tanzinia Khanom is working in Gibika as a Research Officer at ICCCAD since September 2014. She has done her Bachelors in Social Science (BSS) with majors in Political Science, Islamic Studies and Economics from Dhaka Women College under National University, and Masters (MSc) in Natural Resources Management at Independent University, Bangladesh with major in Floodplain and Disaster management. Her research interests are economic empowerment, climate change adaptation and climate migration with specific focus on resilient livelihood with connection to community and ecosystems based adaptation approaches. Tanzinia has also been involved with Wildlife and Nature Conservation Society of Bangladesh (WNCSB) since 2012 in promoting green education in remote areas in Bangladesh. Tanzinia loves adventures and in her leisure time, she travels around Bangladesh.
