The Rohingya influx has put a critical impact on the forest land as thousands of hectares have been destroyed for making makeshift camps.

 

Potentially more than 50% (10,000- 25,000 ha) of remaining forest degraded in the area.

 

Forest degradation due to fuel-wood collection has been an ongoing issue in the area.
